Emerald 3.2M & 5M

Ready for Embedded Vision

The Emerald 3.2M and Emerald 5M CMOS image sensors are compatible with a wide range of state-of-the-art Image Signal Processors (ISP) using the MIPI CSI-2 interface, initially developed for mobile applications.

Both sensors have digital circuits that have been enriched with real time pre-processing algorithms that reduce data storage and processing loads, and maximize the quality of information in each image e.g. the single frame HDR and patented Self Fast Exposure functionalities guarantee an optimized exposure at first frame, even under changing lighting conditions.

Miniaturized Size and Reduced Cost

For the first time, 3.2M and 5M resolution global shutter image sensors fit 1/2.5′ and 1/1.8′ lenses respectively, ideal for tiny s-mount cameras.

Machine vision applications often have very diverse environmental conditions and Emerald 3.2M and 5M are available in two different chip packages to either optimize size and cost or prioritize robustness in harsh conditions.
