We understand the challenges facing the healthcare landscape (including ageing populations and the management of healthcare spending), and through close partnerships with our suppliers, are able to offer customers agility and flexibility over our entire supply chain. This enables us to provide our customers with a fully comprehensive digital imaging solution. We also produce and sell an X-ray intra-oral dental product named Demoniac, which is compliant with ISO 13485.
Teledyne e2v is now bringing OCT to the next level by enabling wide 3D images and functional imaging through our new OctoPlus Spectral-Domain OCT cameras. Typical applications include: retinal disease diagnosis (for early detection of age related macular degeneration, glaucoma), cornea surgery assistance (to ensure maximum treatment accuracy), endoscopy (for laser surgery monitoring), dermatology (for early skin cancer diagnosis) and non-destructive testing (for solder/LCD/LED inspection, characterisation of polymers).
Offering high performance imaging from lower radiation doses than film and built on more than twenty years’ experience in the design and manufacture of image sensors, our x-ray dental image sensors have helped transform the way in which x-ray images are captured, stored and retrieved in dental offices.

Teledyne e2v addresses the endoscopic and laparoscopic markets with chip-on-the-tip CMOS image sensors for disposable and flexible endoscopes. These markets require compact sensors with a very small pixel pitch and image quality specifically optimized to your application. We also investigate imaging solutions for emerging markets such as robotic guided surgery.
